Children Literature is course that examine children education. This course guide students to know much information and knowledge about children books and the elements of the stories. I have really enjoyed my Course with good professor who learn me the importance of reading baby books and know the world of kids.
In addition, I became recognizing and understanding a variety of literature components and story elements, such as character, setting, theme, conflicts, and plots. Also I learned the differences between author and narrator, issues of structure, and types of genres in the story.
Student's involvement in class activities and assignments as group work increased the success of the class. Therefore, teachers always ask for group work to affect students participation in the course. In class, I read different types of children novels . I created a baby book in simple and easy way to kids. I became understanding the benefits of reading baby stories and illustrating them in easy way. This course allowed me to develop my critical thinking about children literature and improved my writing skills. In addition, group discussion or teamwork raised my communication skills with classmates which was affecting my success in class over all. In the children literature course, I introduced to significant works of literature specifically intended for children. In addition, it examines some traditional influences on children's literature, such as adventures, children experience, and fairy tales.
